Brandon Reaves, stage name King Reaves, a proud native of the bronx, is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and writer whose journey to the stage is as powerful as his punchlines. Originally launching his career through acting and writing, Brandon gained early recognition for his viral videos on social media. Ironically, it was a lost bet with a friend that pushed him on the comedy stage, and from that moment he was hooked.
In 2022, Brandon was crowned winner of the “Blessed With The Funny Comedy Competition”. His momentum only grew, earning him the title of “Best Bronx Comedian” in 2024 and the prestigious Johnny Buss Golden Wit Award in 2025.
After the heart breaking loss of his mother, Brandon took a step back from comedy to battle alcohol addiction and to focus on gaining custody of his younger brother. With strength, resilience, and support he needed, Brandon returned to the stage with more passion than ever, and he’s been blazing trails since.

Born and raised in the Bronx, Newyork. His choice at becoming a stand-up comedian, was no coincidence. As a young ladd, Freddie and his late brother Scotty, would gather crowds as they improvised comedy skits, using international dialects.
His love for making people laugh followed him into adulthood, as he took to the stage as a stand-up comedian. Freddie’s uncanny abilities to create characters via dialects, has earned him a reputation in the world of stand-up comedy.
His creative gifts, have taken him to various areas in writing, screen plays, stage plays, and at Spike T.V.
He has also appeared in several stand-up comedy television appearances such as, Showtime at the Apollo, BET ComicView, Apollo Comedy Hour, Bounce T.V in Amsterdam, and Def Comedy Jam.
